Veterans Day Parade in Downtown San Marcos

Downtown San Marcos will honor military veterans during the annual Veterans Day Parade on Saturday, November 7, at 10 am. The community celebration welcomes veteran groups, military organizations, civic clubs, bands, drill teams, public officials, equestrians, youth teams, classic vehicles, and other participants who want to help recognize the service and sacrifices of veterans.

Children ages 5 and older can also take part by decorating their bicycles on the courthouse lawn beginning at 9 am. The Kiwanis Club will provide decorating materials and escort participating children into the parade around the courthouse. Pre-registration is not required for children joining the bike portion.

Groups and organizations interested in entering a parade float can find registration details at sanmarcostx.gov/parade. The deadline for parade entries is Wednesday, October 28, at 4 pm.
