2026 Central Texas Walk for Apraxia at Dunbar Park

The 2026 Central Texas Walk for Apraxia brings families, friends, and community members together to celebrate Apraxia Stars and raise awareness of childhood apraxia of speech. The event supports Apraxia Kids and its work to strengthen support systems for children and families through education, community engagement, advocacy, and research.

Registration is free, and participants can form Walk teams and fundraise for the cause. Registered Walkers who raise $50 will receive the official 2026 Walk for Apraxia T-shirt, while registered Apraxia Stars receive a free T-shirt and medal recognizing their achievements. The event also provides an opportunity for families and professionals to connect with others in the apraxia community.

The 2026 Central Texas Walk for Apraxia takes place Saturday, September 26. Check-in begins at 9 am, followed by the ceremony at 10 am. The event is free to attend, with registration available online.
