Books and Making Books at San Marcos Public Library

Creativity takes center stage at Books and Making Books, a free, hands-on program inviting participants of all ages to explore storytelling through imaginative bookmaking. From family histories and personal adventures to neighborhood-inspired creations, participants can turn their ideas into unique projects such as binders, zines, plush books, and scrolls.

The program encourages experimentation with creative features, including light-up pages, interactive animations, and three-dimensional pop-ups. Sponsored by Families Learning Together, the workshops are offered on select Tuesday evenings at San Marcos Public Library and Saturdays at the STEM Center.

The session takes place Tuesday, October 27, from 6 to 8 pm at San Marcos Public Library in San Marcos, Texas. Registration is required. To sign up and explore additional workshop dates, visit fltsmtx.org. For more information, call 512-393-8200.
