Check It Out! Book Club at San Marcos Public Library

Book lovers can enjoy an afternoon of reading and lively conversation at the free Check It Out! Book Club on Wednesday, November 18, 2026, from 1 to 3 p.m. at the San Marcos Public Library. Open to all ages, the club offers an opportunity to discuss a featured book of the month and share perspectives with fellow readers. Upcoming selections include Mama’s Last Hug: Animal Emotions and What They Tell Us About Ourselves by Frans de Waal in November, The Book Thief by Markus Zusak in December, and Whatever You Do, Don’t Run: True Tales of a Botswana Safari Guide by Peter Allison in January 2027. The October selection was Slow Horses by Mick Herron.
